Toyota RAV4 — Full Front STEK PPF, Track Pack, Door Cups + Full-Vehicle Ceramic
A brand-new daily driver, filmed where it gets hit and coated everywhere else.
Toyota RAV4 (2026) · 2026-10-27
Customer context
A 2026 RAV4 in dark blue metallic, still wearing the dealer plate frame. The owner wanted it protected before the first commute month, so the impact zones got film and the whole car got the coating.
What we did
- Wash and chemical decon of the whole car before any film or coating
- STEK clear paint protection film, full front: hood, front bumper, both front fenders, mirror caps
- Track pack on top of the full front: A-pillars, headlights, door edges and rocker panels
- Door cups and the luggage sill, the two places a daily driver gets scratched by hands and bags
- Ceramic coating over every painted panel, the filmed ones included
- Sun check and hand-back walkthrough after two days in the shop
Process detail
- A new car is the easiest car to protect: no correction needed, the paint is as good as it will ever be, and the film locks that in
- The RAV4 headlight sits in a tight pocket between the hood and the bumper; the film edge is tucked along the lens, not cut on the panel face, which is what the close-up shows
- Rocker panels and door edges take the chips a full front does not: road grit thrown by the front wheels, and the door swung into a post. On an SUV that gets parked tight, they earn their keep
- Coating over the film and the paint together means the whole car beads, washes and ages the same way; the film does not become the dull half of the car
- Aftercare: pH-neutral wash, no wax on the film, a Maintenance Wash every few weeks keeps the coating healthy
