Innovo is the SF Bay Area authorized STEK PPF installer — 10-year manufacturer warranty (12 years with STEK Formula Final Coat ceramic topcoat).

Why we install STEK — not XPEL.
Most Bay Area PPF shops are XPEL-only because XPEL has the larger U.S. installer network. We install STEK because the engineering wins on the points below.
HYDROphobe nano-glass.
STEK's HYDROphobe ceramic topcoat is built into the film — not a separate post-install coating you pay extra for. Sheds water and self-heals light scratches under heat. XPEL Ultimate Plus uses a comparable elastomeric topcoat layer; STEK's chemistry is what actually bonds with Final Coat to extend the warranty to 12 years.

STEK DYNO line ships with a 10-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, delamination, and rock-chip failure. Add STEK Formula Final Coat over the top (registered at stekshield.com) and the warranty extends to 12 years. XPEL Ultimate Plus is also 10 years standard but does not have an equivalent product-line warranty extension pathway.
Fashion Film — color in the film.
STEK Fashion Film is the broadest color + finish PPF line on the market: gloss, matte, satin, DYNOprism color-shift, DYNOcarbon / DYNOforged / DYNOdamascus pattern films. Real PPF underneath, not vinyl wrap. XPEL's Stealth (matte) is solid; their color PPF range is narrower.

What does STEK PPF protect against?
Rock chips, road debris, light scratches, bug etching, bird droppings, tree sap, UV-induced paint fade. Self-healing top coat means light scratches disappear with the application of heat (sun or warm water). 10-year manufacturer warranty.
What's included in Full Front?
Full Front PPF is 4 panels — hood, fenders, bumper, mirrors — for $1,800. Headlight PPF is a separate $80 add-on. Customer wanting 5-panel coverage pays $1,800 + $80 = $1,880.
How long does PPF take?
Hood or Bumper — 1 day. Full Front — 1 day. Full Body — 3 days. PPF is shop-only because film application requires a controlled, dust-free environment.
Is it really self-healing?
STEK's top coat self-heals light scratches under heat. Deep scratches that go through the film won't self-heal. The film itself is a self-sacrificial layer — it takes the rock-chip hit instead of your paint. When the film eventually wears out (10+ years), it removes cleanly within its warranty period.

Why "starting at" pricing?
Vehicle make/model, wrap complexity, and the specific PPF film chosen (DYNOshield clear vs DYNOmatte vs colored Fashion Film) all change the final number. Hood from $700 means simple sedan hoods at that floor; complex exotic hoods quote higher. Quote in 2 minutes after we know the car.

Can PPF go over a fresh paint repair?
Body shop needs to confirm paint cure — typically 60 days for fresh single-stage; longer for full repaints. Premature application traps solvents; we'll wait if the body shop says wait.
