How to book + reschedule.
What's the cancellation policy?
24 hours notice — no charge. Inside 24 hours — $60 cancellation fee. Same-day no-shows are billed at $60. Reschedules are always free when our calendar allows it; just text us. See the pricing page for the full policy.
Do I need to be home for mobile service?
No — the car needs to be accessible (driveway, open garage, parking spot you can leave us in) and you arrange the key handoff. Plenty of customers leave the key in a lockbox and step out for the day. We text when we arrive and when we're done.
How do I reschedule?
Text us at (628) 212-2001 with your new preferred date / time window. Same-day reschedules are free when our calendar allows it. Reschedules booked 24+ hours out are always free. There's no penalty for moving an appointment as long as it isn't a no-show.
Same-day booking — possible?
Sometimes — depends on the service and our schedule. Quick Interior or Exterior detail same-day is often doable in off-peak windows. Full Body PPF and ceramic require advance scheduling (PPF needs a controlled shop slot; ceramic needs prep time). Text us with what you need and we'll tell you the actual next-available slot.

Why does pricing vary by vehicle size?
Five tiers — Compact (Mini, 911), Medium (Tesla 3, Civic), Large (Model Y, RAV4), XL (Model X, Tundra), XXL (Sprinter, Transit). Larger vehicles take longer (more panels to wash, more interior to vacuum) and use more product. See the full pricing matrix.
Multi-car discount?
Yes — $10 off per car when you book 2+ vehicles in the same appointment. Detailing services only (does not apply to ceramic, PPF, VIN, or paint correction). Fleet / dealer accounts get a separate trade rate sheet — see fleet pricing or text us.
How do I pay?
Credit card on file at booking — charged after service is complete. Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash, and Wisetack financing (rates and terms depend on your credit profile) accepted at the shop. No deposit on detailing services. Large PPF jobs require a deposit — quoted in chat after vehicle assessment.
Tipping the tech — appropriate?
Never required, always appreciated. Our pricing covers fair pay for the crew. If a tech goes above and beyond (severe pet hair, surprise interior recovery, extra-careful exotic work) a tip lands well. 10-15% on a Complete Detail is typical when customers tip; not tipping doesn't change how we do the work.
What happens next.
How do I register my STEK PPF warranty?
We register every STEK PPF install at stekshield.com on your behalf at the appointment. You'll get a confirmation email from STEK USA with your warranty certificate within 24 hours. If you add STEK Final Coat over the PPF (+$300), the same registration extends the warranty from 10 to 12 years automatically.
First wash after ceramic — when?
Wait 48 hours minimum before the first wash. Avoid automated brush washes permanently (the brushes scrub the coating off over time). For the first 30 days, hand wash with pH-neutral soap only — no acid wheel cleaners, no degreasers, no clay-bar. After 30 days the coating is fully cured and you're on the normal maintenance schedule. See our ceramic maintenance guide for the long-term routine.
Pickup hours / after-hours pickup?
Shop pickup during business hours: 9 AM – 6 PM daily. After-hours pickup by arrangement only — text us at (628) 212-2001 and we'll set up key-drop / lockbox access. We don't leave keys in unsecured spots; after-hours pickup needs a real handoff plan agreed in advance.
Something looks off after the detail — what now?
Text us at (628) 212-2001 within 30 days with a photo. We have a 30-day call-back window for anything that got missed (a panel that didn't get clayed, a spot we didn't catch on the interior). We come back out and fix it at no charge. If something got actively damaged during service (rare — we document on arrival), we cover it.
