Detailing FAQ
What's the difference between Complete and Interior + Exterior individually?
Complete is the bundle — interior shampoo + decon + dressing PLUS exterior wash, decon, and protective sealant. Booking them separately runs more total (you'd pay $130 Ex + $160 Int = $290 on a Medium vs $260 Complete) and takes two appointments.
Mobile or shop — does it cost different?
Same price. Mobile across all 9 Bay Area counties — we bring the water + power. Shop at 3425 Ettie St Oakland — drop off, grab coffee, come back.
How long does a Complete take?
Compact / Medium: 3-4 hours. Large: 4-5 hours. XL: 5-7 hours. XXL: 6-9 hours. With our 2-tech crew, on-vehicle time drops by about half — 6-hour Complete becomes ~3 hours drop-to-pickup.
Pet hair, stains, smells — is that an upcharge?
No. Pet hair removal, spill/stain extraction, and odor neutralization are included with Interior, Complete, and higher tiers — no extra charge. Heavy long-haired breeds (Husky, GSD) may need extra time; we'll confirm on arrival.
Do you do paint correction?
Yes — paint correction is $120/hr. We assess the paint, agree on a target outcome, and stop when the paint hits it. Typical single-stage runs 2-4 hrs; multi-stage 4-8+ hrs; quoted on inspection. If you just want a minor polish (decon + a single quick polish pass) bundled with any detail, the flat +$120 polish add-on covers it.
What does Maintenance Wash include?
Monthly subscription — exterior wash + interior wipe-down + glass + tire dressing. Sized to your car ($120/mo Compact–Large, $150 XL, $180 XXL). 3-month minimum at signup. Keeps the car looking like it just got detailed without paying full detail every month.
