How a Complete Detail runs
Pre-wash + intake
Photos of the vehicle + walk-around on arrival. Catalog anything we should flag (existing damage, soft trim, aftermarket).
APC + vacuum + targeted shampoo
Personal items out. APC every surface from headliner to floorboards. Vacuum carpets, mats, seats, trunk. Targeted shampoo + extraction on stained areas as needed. Glass last so it stays clean.
Wheels + foam + decon + protect
Wheels, wheel wells, tires scrubbed first. Foam pre-soak. 2-bucket hand wash. Light-acid decon + clay-bar pass. Ceramic sealant on paint.
Trim + tires + final wipe
Exhaust tip polish. Trim + tire dressing. Final exterior glass + spot-check for missed areas.
Complete Detail FAQ
How long does a Complete Detail take?
Compact ~3 hours labor (1.5 hr with our 2-tech crew). Medium ~5 hours. Large ~7 hours. XL ~8 hours. XXL ~9 hours. With our 2-tech crew the on-vehicle time roughly halves — a 6-hour Complete becomes ~3 hours drop-to-pickup.
Is the price the price?
Yes. Published price is what you pay for a standard vehicle in standard condition. If we see something on arrival that materially changes the work (heavy pet damage, interior that needs full shampoo, body damage we should know about), we quote and ask before doing it. No surprise upcharges.
What's the difference between Complete and booking Interior + Exterior separately?
Price + time. Booking Interior + Exterior separately on a Medium = $165 Ex + $195 Int = $360 vs $325 Complete bundle. And you only book one appointment. The Complete bundle is always better value for cars that need both sides.
Pet hair, stains, smells — extra charge?
No. Pet hair removal, spill / stain extraction, and basic odor neutralization are included on Interior, Complete, and higher tiers — no extra charge. Heavy long-haired breeds (Husky, GSD, retriever) may need extra time; we confirm on arrival.
Mobile or shop — same price?
Same price. Mobile across all 9 Bay Area counties — we bring our own water + power. Shop at 3425 Ettie St in Oakland — drop off, grab coffee, come back.
Do you do paint correction at the same appointment?
Yes — paint correction is a $120/hr custom add-on (typical jobs 3-8 hours; quoted on inspection). We assess paint condition on arrival and agree on a target outcome before starting correction work.
How do I prep for the appointment?
Remove personal items + car seats if you want them out of the way; we work around what stays. For mobile: clear the driveway / parking spot, leave us key access. For shop: drop off any time during business hours and pick up when we text you.
How do I pay?
Credit card on file at booking, charged after service is complete. Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash, and Wisetack financing accepted at the shop. No deposit required for Detailing services (PPF and full-body packages may require a deposit — quoted in chat).

A Complete Detail brings the paint back to factory clean. A ceramic coating on top — P&S Inspiration STOUT for paint, 5-year durability, 107° hydrophobic — keeps it there. Ceramic is mobile or shop, same price.
