Tesla Model Y — Full Front STEK DYNOshield PPF + P&S STOUT Ceramic
Film where the chips land, coating over everything else.
Tesla Model Y (2026) · 2026-10-13
Customer context
New grey Model Y. The front end gets the rock chips, so it was filmed; the rest of the body got the ceramic coating so the whole car washes and ages the same way.
What we did
- Wash and chemical decon of the whole car, so nothing is sealed under the film or the coating
- STEK DYNOshield clear paint protection film: full hood, front bumper, both front fenders, mirror caps
- Edges wrapped where the panel allows so there is no visible film line from the driver's seat
- P&S Inspiration STOUT ceramic coating over every painted panel, including on top of the film
- Sun check and hand-back walkthrough
Process detail
- Tesla front bumpers are one of the most sensor-dense panels on the road; the film is cut around every sensor and camera, never over them
- DYNOshield is 8-mil self-healing TPU with a hydrophobic top layer; coating over it keeps the filmed and unfilmed panels behaving the same at the wash
- Full front is the highest-value film coverage for a commuter: it is where the chips land. The coating covers the doors, roof and rear, which take UV and road grime rather than impacts
- Aftercare: a Maintenance Wash every few weeks keeps the coating healthy
