PPF · Case study
Range Rover Evoque — Full-Body STEK DYNOmatte PPF
A gloss grey Evoque turned satin, and protected, in one film.
Range Rover Evoque · 2026-10-13
Customer context
Owner wanted the satin look without a vinyl wrap and without giving up protection. Matte PPF does both: the finish is in the film, and the film is the armor.
What we did
- Full exterior wash and chemical decon before any film touched the paint
- STEK DYNOmatte paint protection film over the full body: hood, fenders, doors, quarters, bumpers, tailgate, roof
- Edges wrapped and tucked at panel gaps so the satin reads as one surface, no visible seams at the grille or lights
- Final inspection in direct sun for lift, dust and tension lines before hand-back
Process detail
- Matte film shows every speck trapped under it, so the shop goes dust-controlled and the car is decontaminated twice before the first panel
- DYNOmatte is self-healing TPU like the clear line, just with a satin top layer; light swirls close up with heat
- Matte surfaces cannot be polished. Protecting the finish under film is the only way to keep it uniform for years
- Aftercare: pH-neutral wash only, no wax, no polish, no dressings on the film
