What Fashion Film is
From STEK's approved marketing language: "STEK's fashion films offer all of the same benefits as their clear gloss or matte paint protection films — they stop rock chips, prevent and self-heal light scratches, look amazing, and last for up to 12 years compared to vinyls that have a lot of orange-peel texture and only last for 2-3 years."
Under the color or pattern is the same TPU base, the same HYDROphobe® nano glass topcoat (on the DYNOseries finishes), and the same 10-year warranty as STEK's clear PPF. The aesthetic layer doesn't reduce protection — it adds it. See the STEK PPF spec matrix for the underlying film specs.

Common questions about Fashion Film
How long does it last? Same warranty as STEK's clear PPF — 10 years manufacturer, 12 with STEK Final Coat applied as a topcoat (registered at stekshield.com).
Can I remove it? Yes. Fashion Film is removable without damaging the paint underneath. That's the entire point versus paint — you can return the car to factory finish whenever you want.
Does it look like a wrap? No — STEK is emphatic that the films should not be called "wraps." Vinyl wraps are 2-3 mil PVC with no topcoat. Fashion Film is 8 mil TPU with a HYDROphobe topcoat. The finish quality, color depth, and absence of orange-peel texture are visibly different.
Can I get a custom color? The catalog above is what STEK manufactures. Custom mixes aren't an option, but the range covers most use cases including paint-match accents for OEM colors.
