Rivians live an interesting life — luxury-grade interior, off-road duty cycle, and paint that takes both highway grit and trail rash. Full-body PPF makes more sense on a Rivian than it does on almost any other vehicle we work on: you bought the truck/SUV to actually use it, the chassis can handle it, and the PPF lets you take it through the trail brush at Soda Springs without flinching.

R1T
Pacific Blue + Glacier White are the most-common R1T colors we see. Front-end PPF + rocker panels + door cups is the standard package for daily-driven + occasional-off-road builds.
R1S
Larger surface area = more panels to consider. We frequently quote full-body PPF for R1S owners who actually take them on overlanding trips.
R2 / R3 (when they ship)

Full Front PPF is a flat $1,800 across all Rivian models (hood + fenders + bumper + mirrors). Full Body and ceramic vary by vehicle size — text us year + model + trim for a verified per-vehicle quote. STEK Final Coat top-coat is +$300 and extends the PPF warranty from 10 to 12 years.
Is Rivian paint really softer than other brands?
Rivian paint hardness is in the normal premium-marque range. The bigger paint-life factor is wash discipline (no brush automatic washes, pH-neutral chemistry) and protection coverage (PPF on impact zones + ceramic on the rest). See the recommended package above.
Do you do mobile service for Rivian owners?
Yes — detailing and ceramic coating are mobile or shop at the same price. We bring our own water + power. PPF is shop-only because film install requires a dust-controlled environment (drop off at 3425 Ettie St, Oakland).
How long does Rivian PPF install take?
Hood or Bumper-only: 1 day. Full Front (4 panels): 1 day. Full Body: 3 days. We don't rush installs — proper edge wrapping + cure time is what makes PPF last the full 10-year warranty window (12 with Final Coat registered at stekshield.com).
What's the best protection package for a daily-driven Rivian?
